Lynn Dearmyer, Democratic candidate for the Erie County Legislature’s 7th District, which encompasses Cheektowaga (excluding Depew) and portions of South Buffalo and Kaisertown, knocked on her 3,000th door last night.

In the first ten weeks of this campaign Dearmyer has personally knocked on doors within the district nearly every single night, and has worn out the soles on a pair of sneakers. Dearmyer is committed to walking every single evening, Saturdays and Sundays, and personally meeting the people who live in the community.

“I feel it is my responsibility to do the hard work if I want my family, friends and supporters to give up any of their time to help me” says Dearmyer. “Walking door-to-door and speaking with the hardworking people of this district is by far the best part of running for elected office.”

With only 4 weeks until the Democratic Primary election, Dearmyer shows no signs of slowing down. “I’ll be out there right up until Primary Day with the hope of reaching all of the neighborhoods within the 7th District and I am confident that no one will out-work me.”
