What do you think about Knight’s Statement?

Dear Family of Friends,

What we have here is a failure to communicate along with a Coach, Bobby Knight, talking about things going on in today’s NCAA as though he was back in the Indiana days of his high profile teams. Well, I didn’t like what he did to College Basketball by treating the players like they belonged to him and Indiana. As far as the Universities being raped, a new group of NCAA players will always be coming through the playground doors, the AAU teams, and just from places unknown so that we are treated to the excitement of March Madness every year!

I say every person with skills in their chosen profession, shouldn’t have any obstacles in the way of making the CASH! Money is what this story is all about and we throw up all kinds of smoke screens talking about things the NCAA, the Coaches, the Benefiting Businesses, and the Players care nothing about!

In the case of who gets what and when, the Players are the last ones to get the CASH. Take a look at how this system works and we see the Coaches getting sneaker deals, radio shows, summer camps, and other stuff under/over the tables. We see the Universities and their Booster Businesses getting millions of dollars. We see Nike/Adidas and other Sports companies getting millions. We see the media companies making millions. All of these Corporations are cashing in big time on the backs of the players. The only person not getting any of the “Big Cash” is the player and the entire pyramid is built on the players skill sets.

So, I say every player should get as many “Millions” as they can get, but don’t forget to get that College Education. Some of Us get Degrees from the Classroom and some of Us get Degrees like LeBron James, on the job training! In any event, the Deal is to make it so that Players get more of the CASH, get the University to guarantee them a College Degree via the players work in the classroom. Also, take a look at this new CAPA, the College Athletes Player Association and you’ll see more of what I believe the players should get.

In concluding, these new times of “Big Cash” demands that new ways develop for players getting the Cash. I agree with the one and done system because all of the Corporations get their Big Cash Deals and Players get the opportunity to make a judgment call with their family that decides when they want a piece of the Big Cash they never got prior to signing a NBA contract. Go Get The Money!!

The Money Is What This Is All About.
