Congressman Christopher Lee has been appointed to the House Financial Services Committee, which his office says will give Western New York a voice in the nation’s economic recovery.
“For too long, Washington failed to protect families, seniors and taxpayers from this crisis,” said Lee, R-Clarence, in a statement released today.
“That’s why I pledge to work tirelessly on behalf of the people of Western New York in this important role,” said Lee, who was sworn in as a member of the 111th Congress on Jan. 6.
