Balloon Boy
A lot of people are complaining that the balloon boy hoax/debacle reflects poorly on our reality-TV-addicted society.
I think the balloon boy hoax/debacle is a poor reflection on the obviously narcissistic attention-whoring family behind it. Society was just worried about the safety about a little boy who was supposedly caught up in a freakish and dangerous accident.

To some extent, society has bred these morons by virtue of its fascination with such drek as “Wife-Swap”, where Daddy Heene had his greed for fame lubricated. This crew is just Jon and Kate with different disfunctions.
