Please join VOICE Buffalo tomorrow at 4:30pm at St. Joseph’s Cathedral and then march to the County Building to show your support for working families.
VOICE Buffalo and other supporters will meet at 4:30pm on Tuesday, February 9th at St. Joseph’s Cathedral (50 Franklin Street). At 5pm, we’ll march to the County Building to send a message to the County Administration: Continue Funding Child Care Subsidies for Working Families!
On January 21st, the Legislature unanimously passed a resolution urging County Executive Collins to continue the child care subsidy at the current 200% level for another 90 days or until federal stimulus monies become available. To date, the administration has not budged from their position, and in the meantime the clock is ticking for working families.
Come to the rally on Tuesday to send a message to the County Executive — Continue Funding Child Care Subsidies for Working Families!
