Good Government Club Honors Schroeder
The Good Government club of WNY held their annual St. Joseph’s Dinner last night awarding their 2013 Achievement Award to Buffalo Comptroller Mark Schroeder. Yes believe it or not, even with a name like Schroeder, Mark is Italian American. (see video)
Salvatores was once again overflowing with just about every would be candidate, current elected official, Judges and everyone in between. The room was so full they might need a bigger venue in the future.
It was an honor to break St. Joseph’s bread ( I don’t do the fish) this year with Mayor Byron “Marrone” , Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz and Good Government President Don Alessi.
The organization annually hosts a St Joseph’s Day dinner preserving Italian culture, and honoring Italian-Americans who have distinguished themselves in public service.
