First, we had the case of SI.com blatantly ripping off Japers’ Rink. Not once, but twice.
Sadly, that one didn’t get the attention I thought it deserved.
But I think this one will, now that Fark has picked it up.
Seems that ESPN Radio’s Colin Cowherd (who is on WGR here in Buffalo from 10 a.m.-12 noon) read, almost verbatim, a really funny post a blog called The M Zone put up about the Wonderlic Test. The post calling out Cowherd is here, complete with the audio from Cowherd’s show. It is a blatant case of a complete and total ripoff from a blogger.
But worst of all is Cowherd’s response to the M Zone’s e-mail that informed him he just stole their property:

I think that’s about as low as you can get, stealing material for your big radio show without giving any credit. And then to say it was “sent to them” shows how little journalistic integrity they have. Colin, it’s called Google, and you could have found the original authors in about 45 seconds, credited them, and moved on. Instead, you should just be fired.
