Sabres Trim Camp Roster

Better late than never in bringing you all this information…

The Sabres sent ten players to Rochester on Friday, lightening the camp load and bringing the number of players in camp down to 30. Those sent down are: forwards Branislav Fabry, Dylan Hunter, Patrick Kaleta, Mark Mancari and Marek Zagrapan; defensemen Mike Card, Michael Funk and Christopher Trick; goaltenders Adam Berkhoel and Adam Dennis.

In other Sabres news, forward Clarke MacArthur scored in the 11th round of a shootout to help the Sabres beat the Penguins 3-2 on Saturday night. That runs the Sabres preseason record to 3-1. The Sabres are off until this weekend, when they meet the Penguins on Friday and Saturday to close out the season with a home-and-home series.
