The Random Sabre Generator tells me I need to say a little something about Wayne Presley.
I always got a kick out of the fact that Buffalo traded Dave Snuggerud, another No. 18-wearing, defensive-minded forward, for Wayne Presley way back in 1991. Snuggerud never did much after the trade, appearing in 50 more NHL games and scoring just four goals. Meanwhile, Presley pumped in 15 goals for the high-scoring 1992-93 team, often playing wing on Bob Sweeney’s line, then followed up the next year with 17 more goals. Plus, he would drop the gloves on occasion. He was often overlooked as a goal scorer on a team that was full of them.
Sabres go for their fourth straight win tonight. It’s been over a month since they last accomplished that.

How much does Max make? LTIR?
Max is 3.3, but even 6 weeks doesn’t put him out until the end of the reg season…. LTIR doesn’t do any good because they would have to dump whoever they get to bring Max back.
