I am a born and raised Buffalo fan since my birth in Niagara Falls in 1977. For reference, my first communion gift from my parents was a replica Sabres Home White Mike Ramsey jersey. I still have that jersey. After stints at Georgetown and the U.S. Army, I have settled in DC where my Sabres, Bills and Hoyas passion runs unabated (I have season tickets to all 3). I believe that while supporting my franchises is good, I believe supporting them with data and statistics is better. -

And, this time, they’re well rested.
For the Sabs, however, this is their 3rd in 4 nights; 6th in 9 nights. Can that be right? I think it is. Whew.
36 lovely degrees in southern New Hampshire, not quite “Live Freeze and Die” but I did step in slushy water up to my ankles today. As I tell the kids who cleared the roof of snow today – IT BUILDS CHARACTER!

I don’t see how Sundin can play well given all the trade rumors going on about him. I mean, what’s the motivation??

I know that guy (professionally) who is in the current UNYTS commercial; at one point, you could see each of us repeatedly, and fortunately for short periods of time, in a certain news story in Buffalo involving “adult supervision.”
And UNYTS (sp.?) is a fine organization; they were great with my mom and our family when my father died and donated his organs.

Paul, are you sure 627 is basketball? Mine says Sabres/Leafs, but it’s blacked out because I’m out of market (Maryland) and am forced to watch these hacks on NHL channel. BUt if you’re in Western NY, you should be getting it on 627 cause it’s your local station.

If you have only NHL Center Ice, the game is blacked out since it’s on NHL Network. A bunch of garbage in my opinion. The game is not available to me unless I subscribe to Brighthouse’s garbage sports package for about $10 a month.

Kevin, yeah, the site crashed somewhere around the start of the third, and never came back up the rest of the game. Too bad, too cause I wasn’t able to jinx Miller with 2 minutes left and pitching a shutout!
That boy stood on his head last night.
Hopefully this game brought a Sundin trade that much closer so that when we play the Leafs FOUR MORE TIMES they’ll be even further weakened.
