Does this help?

You can always revel in the failure of your enemies

I saw none of the game last night, and perhaps that is for the best. Actually, I know it was for the best because last night was one of the best nights as a Buffalo fan I have had in a while as I got to listen to Ed Rutkowski and Larry Felser talk about “the good old days” for a couple hours.

Details to come.

Does it weird anyone else out that the Cards are 7-3?

  2. Caroline says:

Actually, that did help a little.

Doesn’t help…. but it is nice to know Chris Neil is limping.

It must have been a good time listening to the Ed & Larry wax about the old days – My recollections don’t begin until ~superbowl 3, with all the hub-bub about the Jets & that quaterback whose name escapes me, Joe what’s-his-name.
I had my pleather football w/ a white & green panel bearing a Jets logo – cheap plastic kicking Tee (broke when exposed to 30 degree weather) and, black plastic device to tie around my shoe to square off my toe, ala Jim Turner’s high top spikes. Ah yes, the good old days.

If your defence sucked hind-tit you still lost football & hockey games – oh wait, now I’m pissed off again.

For me it is freaky that the parallels between the Bills and the Sabres continues. They both start 5-1 and everyone is feeling good, then they both self-destruct and end up at .500 at the same point in the season, the Bills at 5-5 and the Sabres at 9-9 (spare me your OT loss bullshit).

wtf is going on? Are we in some rift in the space-time continuum, where wide-right folds back on itself and the two teams are really the same team. Where’s Wesley Crusher when you need him?

@GregK — This all goes back to stupid ESPN. The week before the Cardinals Game, ESPN had the Bills and Sabres ranked 4th in thier respective Power Polls, Its been all down hill for them since.

  6. Ben says:

    Stupid ESPN…

    Greg-
It’s basically the same as how chicks who hang out together start to assume identical menstrual cycles. Our football and hockey teams are acting like silly little bitches right now.
