Can we please set the clock back to the early 90’s with Marv as our coach and Bill Polian as our GM???
He’s still alive?
Marv brought class and character back to the Bills. Hopefully his successor continues that.
Sorry to see marv go , but lets get a good one.
WHY WOULD MARV RESIGN ANYWAY
HE GOT US T.EDWARDS AND M.LYNCH
THATS HOW YOU START BUILDING A TEAM !!!!
HES ONLY BLUNDER IS THE COACHING STAFF!
That way someone else makes the decision on Jauron, even though I’ve read where he’s considered “safe”…yeah, right.
Marv is probably 3/4ths of the way to his death bed. The man wants to die in peace, not running some dead-end NFL franchise.
Let him go already! Plenty of successful teams in the league have GMs who are not Marv Levy. We should be able to find a capable replacement.
this team needs stability. since the mid 90’s they’ve changed leadership people like I change cold weather boots. stability at least brings some respectability both from the players and league.
to have hired a GM that needs to have his leg cut and rings counted to find his real age was not too forward looking. marv IS a good guy but, it’s time for him to spend his winter years chilling out.
We saw Marv at the airport at 8:00 AM last Thursday when we left Buffalo. He looked like the cryptkeeper. I think it’s time to hang em up. I however looked like humpty dumpty after a week of Buffalo cusine. I think I know what I need to do also.
Just as long as he consults on the draft.
Whitner, McCargo, Simpson, Williams, Ellison, Lynch, Posluszny, Edwards… even Schouman and Wendling impressed me in limited action. The man can flat out draft and that’s going to be important with the number of picks that we have this year.
I’m sad to see him go, the guy knows how to build a team!
289 – just got back from lunch at Dogfish Head. I swear the food gets better every time I go there.
Run to the light old man!
