- Brad Riter’s show debuted. I actually watched it last night because I saw it was on while flipping through the digital cable. It looked a little rough, but the content was good. I have to find out if it’s mandated everyone wear burgundy or if it was just a fluke. Rodney McKissic was the guest and he looks like a cool cat.
- Keller came back from hiatus in style. What can I say? Agree, agree, agree, etc. But I still read USRT.
- Die by the Blade has a review of the Sabres season thus far.
- Heather and Kate both answer a bunch of questions. If you’re curious about why they blog and what it means to them, go read.
- GCFB keeps us updated on the Sabres/Amerks impending split.
- The USRT is on an extended “RT” in California.
- Visually, it’s safe to visit WNYMedia.net again. For stable mental health, you may want to avoid this particular comment thread. Ugh.
- Via Kelly comes word that an old Buffalo blogger has resurrected one of Buffalo’s better blogs, especially if you’re into pop culture and swearing (note, I am and I am). “The Dude” shows his faceless around here in comments on occasion, but not as “The Dude”.
- It’s this kind of snark and vitriol that makes me love this site. Some bloggers would have just typed “heh” and linked to it. I freaking hate that. Pretentious and self-important, if you ask me.
- heh
re: Mr. Douchebag:
See, this is the primary evidence that women have faulty brains. They complain that men are assholes. And then they reward assholery with sex.
Dave – That’s sort of like the way that my friends complain that, in romantic comedies, old men end up with women twenty or twenty-five years younger than they are. Then, they openly pine for guys like George Clooney and Brat Pitt, who are twenty or twenty-five years older than them. I don’t understand it.
Pretentious and Self-Important is what I look for in a good blog.
Oh, also candy.
I complain about pretension and self importance, but then I reward pretension and self-importance with a hearty “heh”.
Stupid faulty brain!
Simple answer: women suck*.
*I’m in no way saying that men don’t because we do.
And I’m calling shenanigans on that New York Times article. Jon was only a “big deal” because he sucked balls. He never won a game above rookie ball and in his only full minor league season he went 0-11 and had an ERA of almost 8.00
I should probably read the blog article first. Yup, I suck.
thanks for the kind words.
