The Buffalo Sabres finally got into the win column this preseason, dropping the Columbus Blue Jackets 5-2 last night. That makes them 1-3-1 2-3-1 this preseason.
When Teppo Numminen scores, you know it’s time to start the year.
The Sabres also announced that Sunday’s game against Detroit will be carried by MSG, as they are picking up the feed from the Detroit Fox Sports station. So no RJ, but at least you get to watch the team. Game time is 5:00, so keep that “flashback” button on the reomte ready, as that’s right in the middle of the Bills and Cardinals game.
Looking at the Portland Pirates schedule, I would imagine you will be seeing a Sabres team that is as close to the final product as they can get. Portland is scheduled to play their first exhibition game on Sunday night against Albany, and right now they have only 13 players in camp, and just 11 skaters. I would think the Sabres will make some moves today in order to allow the players time to get to Portland, and it means they will likely reassign 5-7 players very soon.
Opening night is just one week away!
What Bills game? My guide shows that I will get college ladies volleyball at that time.
” That makes them 1-3-1 this preseason.
Dude, don’t make it any worse.
2-3-1

It’s okay Kevin, I’m not sure beating the Leafs in the preseason counts as a full win either.
“…that’s right in the middle of the Bills and Cardinals game.”
Which cable customers don’t get to see because WIVB is no longer on be broadcast on TW.
Hockey’s here and the Bills are 4-0!! It’s the most wonderful time of the year.
Roster is just about set.

I’ll really go out on a limb here and guess that barring injuries, Kaleta and Weber get sent down.
Leaving Peters and Paetch to be scratches opening night.
IF connoly, Mair or stafford can’t play, we’ll have the joy of watching peters.
Fucking Peters.
