Game Sixteen Open Thread: Blues at Sabres
I know that the Blues had a tremendous history – I’m not sure of the number but it was something like 16 straight playoff appearances before they missed the year before the lockout (or was it the year before that? I would look, but facts need not apply to the Open Thread).
But I think of them as one of the least significant teams in the league today. Granted, they aren’t in the Atlanta/Florida category, but I just don’t follow them at all.
Probably my fault, really. Sorry about that, St. Louis.

The Blues outplayed Buffalo—
Moral victories are worth 4 points in Bettman’s NHL.
Two points is two points. Memo to Keller…they didn’t outplay us the first 6 minutes, and, the Blues have lost at HSBC arena now…..next victim, Columbus. The blue jackets…at least Columbus is far enough north to merit a hockey team. I’m still shamed by losing to Atlanta the other day….no way hockey should be played there, unless they pay homage and change their names to the “Shermans”.
