I am a born and raised Buffalo fan since my birth in Niagara Falls in 1977. For reference, my first communion gift from my parents was a replica Sabres Home White Mike Ramsey jersey. I still have that jersey. After stints at Georgetown and the U.S. Army, I have settled in DC where my Sabres, Bills and Hoyas passion runs unabated (I have season tickets to all 3). I believe that while supporting my franchises is good, I believe supporting them with data and statistics is better. -

I missed the game last night but caught the highlights on On The Fly (the greatest invention ever, by the way!) and holy crap was that a nice goal by Max. Why doesn’t he do that kind of stuff in regulation? I swear, he either makes a nifty move and then peels off to the outside, or he makes a nifty move and then passes the puck. I want to see more of him faking goalies out of their jocks like he did last night. Granted… he wasn’t dealing with defenders, but still.
I so miss Brian Campbell..
One serious note: You’d think that in the last couple weeks of the season where the playoffs are a pipe dream that you could count on your $10 million man to at least play better than Adam Mair, no?
That said, the Goose-Mair-Bernier line won that game for us last night. Good times. Fuck Danny Briere.
