Journalistic Ethics?

Does anyone else find it a bit unseemly that a newsradio station, whose news should ostensibly be objective, is sponsoring an event put on by the local tax revolt group, Free Buffalo?

I know they broadcast the addict in midday, the 80s throwback in the morning, and the bald guy with the strange laugh in the afternoon, but from 6-9 am, from 6-7 pm, and at the top & bottom of every hour, I expect them not to take sides on any issue.

But they have, and I wonder if it jibes with traditional notions of journalistic ethics.
