I actually went for lunch today – a beautiful, 80 degree cloudless dry summer day. Perfect.
The service was excellent.
The food was a bit pricey, but above average. Good burger with good char, homemade cole slaw. The Caesar salad greens were green throughout – not a bad one in the lot. Dressing seemed homemade, not from a bottle. Nice homemade croutons and great grilled chicken.
The view was spectacular.
One thing missing: umbrellas. They need a bit more shade on the patio.
Other than that, you’re probably reading the first positive feedback on Shanghai Red’s: Buffalo anywhere on the internet. And I went in there ready for a disaster, but was pleasantly surprised.
