Happy findy cluey dance

It was kind of neat seeing street-level, non-touristy parts of Moscow on TAR last night .

The mother who couldn’t dive 2 feet to grab the clue made me crazy. The fact that she started speaking Spanish to her Russian cab driver was pretty hilarious. Pinkies forgot their passport and clue pouch at the pool where the roadblock had been. Nice way to fall behind.

No way I would have done the matryoshka detour. Thousands of nesting dolls, and you have to find a fortune-cookie-fortune sized clue? And there’s an army band and dancing troupe distracting you? Thanks, no. The hippies made me laugh, though, with the “can you do a happy findy cluey dance”?

The teams seemed to have trouble getting to the trolleybus depot, but once they found it, it seemed like a 30 minute task.

Teams then had to get to Red Square and find Phil behind St Basil’s.

But TAR has a new feature they’re playing with – the non-pitstop pitstop. When the first team found Phil, it was told that the leg wasn’t over, and Phil handed over the next clue.

Next week, teams are quite obviously in Germany. Looks like Bavaria, based on the lederhosen, the mountains, and the funny dancing.

But to top it off – there was a scene of teams driving a new Mercedes sedan at an almost 90 degree banking turn on a test track.

TAR and car? I’m so there.
