Have you seen it?
Whether you’re a Spitzer fan or foe, you have to admit two things: his ads are very, very good, and his ads are invariably positive. Not positive as in they don’t bash Faso, but positive as in New York is a place that was great and can be great again if we work together.
Faso is taking a different tack altogether. Since he’s down in the polls by about 50 points, all he has to run on is Spitzer sucks – and he’s a tax & spend liberal, too.
My reaction to that ad is a negative one. That’s an ad that’s targeted for upstate and was obviously written by someone who spends most of his/her time in New York or Albany. We know it’s economically depressed here. We don’t need to be scared into voting for a certain person for governor. I think it’s insulting. The light bulb feels like I’m getting the third degree by Bayliss & Pembleton in the box, too.
I’ll take “This Little Light of Mine” over this trash any day, thanks.
