Street Furniture, it's Called

This post at Buffalo Rising should prompt action by the NFTA.

Imagine if the region’s mass transit system had state-of-the-art, nicely designed bus shelters and other “street furniture” at no cost to the taxpayer? It’s all funded by advertising revenue.

Buffalo Rising points to the JC Deceaux company of France, which has been doing just that in Chicago, Boston, and elsewhere. Here’s what a free bus shelter looks like:
