Sabres Fever

So, now that the Sabres are in the playoffs, does that mean I have to start paying attention to and caring about hockey?

The only sports I can pretty much tolerate watching for any length of time usually involve individual achievement rather than teamplay.

Downhill/super G skiing, tennis, very limited autosports (F1, WRC) are examples.

I do enjoy watching the occasional baseball or football game, and I’ll stop and watch soccer matches (Fox Sports World rocks) every so often.

Anyhow, the guys at BfloBlog are the preeminent sports bloggers in town, so if you want their take on things, check them out. In this post they link to other local blogs who will be following the series.

But obviously, nothing would kick more ass than the Sabres winning the cup. Not because I care about hockey, but because I care about Buffalo.

And we can use all the non-snow related national press we can get.
