Where is the outrage over the very real killings of young black males by other young black males on the East Side??

The overwhelmingly caucasian establishment of the Government and the Police have never cared when black folks are killing each other. They likely never will.

It's up to the Black Folks to decide they don't want to kill each other. If they DID make that decision, it would be OVER.

White folks being outraged about it is 100% moot.

I don't think it's genocide when they're doing it to each other, at least not by the definition of the word.

The selective outrage is absurd!

Not only that, but before you know it one of these days some village council in Serbia, Iraq, or Darfur will unanimously pass a resolution saying some situation there "reeks of parish consolidation in an emptying American city".

Hey, anyone know which seven of our best and brightest were the ones who voted in favor of that thing? BN article mentioned Franczyk, Davis, Fontana, and Golombeck but who were the other three? I already had about as low an opinion of those four as possible, but a few of the other five I still have some indifference about so I want to be sure to apply disgust appropriately.

Lots of people are focusing on Franczyk about this, but all seven who voted for it deserve severe condemning.

The ability and will to combat evils is inversely proportional to the facility with which evils are identified.

In other words: If something like this receives an "evil" label like "ethnic cleansing," it degrades the likelihood that real evils will be combatted. When a real cleansing comes along, the council will probably not have the capacity to see it.

As soon as I heard "ethnic cleansing" on the radio this afternoon, I said to myself... wait till Pundit gets a hold of this one!

Councilman Franczyk is a real tool and a complete jackass... maybe we should pack him off to Srebrenica for a week so he could mingle with the locals and find out from them what the term really means.

Calling this genocide is really ridiculous, but IIRC this isn't the first time I've heard Fronczak make some really stupid comments and resolutions/bills.

Also, WBEN interviewed someone this morning, I'm thinking around 8:20, and he mentioned that Fronczak himself is responsible for the one property being bad due to a deal he arranged something like 14 years ago. The person he arranged to buy the property let it fall apart. Sorry I don't rememeber more details, I was on my way out the door to go to work.
Life long politicians are definitely a problem.

From the News article: " In its final session of the fiscal year, the Council adopted portions of a bill drafted by Franczyk expressing opposition to any push by the diocese to hastily sell properties to unsuitable buyers. "

So, the Council is opposing something that, to my knowledge, hasn't happened. Brilliant.

Franczyk complained that "it's all about faith." That might explain the now six decade decline in Buffalo. No real solutions. No real ideas. Just "faith" that things will turn around.

Poll -- if you were stuck with two choices to run your business -- the Diocese of Buffalo or the Buffalo Common Council -- which would you choose?

While there will be some who will not like what the Diocese is doing to address the obvious problems of rising costs and declining parish populations, it is doing something. And by the way, Dave, the Diocese of Buffalo is responsible for the daily management of the church in eight counties, not just the city. Does your dismay extend to the churches closing in Genesee County, of the neighborhoods losing a parish in Niagara Falls?

Let's not work on a solution, let's just find someone to blame.

Hi. My name is Eugene Gershin. I'd like to welcome you to Obadiah Shoher's blog, Samson Blinded: A Machiavellian Perspective on the Middle East Conflict.

Obadiah is a pen name of a politician. He writes extremely controversial articles about Israel, the Middle East politics, and terrorism.

Obadiah advocates political rationalism instead of moralizing. He is economic liberal and political conservative.

Google refused advertising our site and Amazon deleted reviews of Obadiah's book. Nevertheless, Obadiah’s is the largest Jewish personal blog, read by more than 100,000 people monthly. 210,000 people from 81 countries downloaded Obadiah’s book. The blog was voted the best overall in People’s Choice: Jewish and Israeli blogs Awards, received Webby Honoree and other awards.

Please help us spread Obadiah's message, and mention the blog in one of your posts, or link to us. We would greatly appreciate your comments at www.samsonblinded.org/blog

Best wishes,

Eugene Gershin

Fontana and Davis had issues with the language and still signed on. These people are an embarassment to the community. Perhaps we need to send these clowns overseas so they can see what real ethnic cleansing looks like. Their actions are by far the most disgusting I have seen from local politicians in a long time.
