Nessun Dorma

Check out Paul Potts (no relation to the Khmer Rouge dictator) – a guy who works at Car Phone Warehouse (fans of Extras will appreciate the reference) singing Opera. A guy off the street sings Nessun Dorma like Pavarotti. Sometimes reality programming isn’t that bad.

Here’s his audition in Cardiff. The judges are palpably blown away:

    I don’t watch Idol or other talent shows, but FNS ran the 2nd clip you posted at the end of Special Report with Brit Hume on wed. or thurs last week. This guy was simply incredible.
    He put tears in the eyes of the female judge and many in the audience.

    I forsee a new career for this guy starting immediately.
