State of the Union Watch Party

It’s that time of year again. Time for the WNY Coalition for Progress to host its second annual State of the Union Watch Party, featuring SOTU Bingo and prizes. presidential_seal.jpg

This year will be especially exciting, since it will be President Bush’s first “Checks and Balances” edition of the State of the Union.

The festivities will commence at 8pm on Tuesday, January 23rd at Founding Fathers, 75 Edward St., Buffalo , NY 14202. 716-855-8944. A donation to defray the cost of food will be encouraged, but not required.

    I know I RSVP’d but I may be running a little late. I have a rehearsal that will probably go past 9pm. I live right near there and will stop by as soon as I get out of rehearsal. Hopefully see some of yous’ tonight.

    It is very worrying that I constantly have to refer to UK quality media outlets to find out the truth which seems to be in very short supply in the American media.
