Keith Olbermann is the only one of cable news’ talking heads I can stomach for more than a few minutes. Geek posted a recent “Special Comment” pertaining to Bush’s chest-thumping flip-floppery on Iran. Olbermann closes these occasional pieces with “Good Night & Good Luck”. In doing what he’s been doing, he’s the only one of the cable news set who can say Murrow’s iconic words with a straight face.

keith olbermann is just as big of a political hack as bill o’reilly, you just like him because he’s your kind of hack
Thank God for Keith Olberman. He’s the only TV talking head who isn’t afraid to speak the truth about those in power.
When Olberman first started using Murrow’s sign-off, I winced a bit. At that point in his career, he hadn’t earned the right, but in the last year, he has. Only Keith Olberman is telling it like it is. Murrow confronted Joe McCarthy when others in the press cowered ; Cronkite was the first mainstream journalist with the courage to admit that Vietnam was a mistake; Olberman has berated the Bush administration for incompetance and corruption on many levels and has said what a gutless Congress should have said: this crowd deserves to be impeached. Thank you, Keith Olberman.
And think what you will, Lou Dobbs is also speaking truth to power.
Olbermann is just a token voice of controlled liberalism to obfuscate the fact that the right-wing dominated mainstream media is a propaganda tool for Darwinist trickle-down economics favored by the power elite.
