I’m voting for Ron Paul because he sounds like the only candidate with enough intelligence to reduce the size of an over bloated government. I don’t see any point in keeping troops in Iraq indefinately. We need to elect a President who will stop ‘foreign aid’ at least until things in this country that need attention get fixed. It’s the ’semitics’ who are spreading the lies that Ron Paul is racist because he opposes their war on Arabs in the Middle East. These semitics WANT the country to pay for their stupid war against the Arabs because they’ve ALWAYS been racists against Arabs! Past Presidents(Jimmy Carter in particular) have spent a lot of time & effort trying to bring about peace in the Mideast. After all their efforts these people just go right back to fighting. Maybe it would be more in our best interests to leave them alone & let them kill each other off if they keep refusing to work out some sort of peacefull settlememt of their issues. How does sending troops to Iraq help our country? IT DOESN’T improve anything for the USA nor does it “keep us safe” from insane terrorists attacks. Ron Paul appears to be the only candidate with enough intelligence to understand this. For this he gets called a ‘racist’? Maybe those who want innocent Iraqi civillians to be killed are the REAL RACISTS! Now watch the chickenhawks call me ‘anti-semitic’ because I’m against their genocide of people in Iraq! Read the platforms of the candidates before casting your vote. At least then you will be a more informed voter than those who vote based on media sound bytes or various assorted smears. After reading where they stand on the issues, I decided Ron Paul would make the best President of the group of them based on a number of issues. You might or might not come to the same conclusion. This election is too important to ‘yellow dog vote’ in the primaries! We will need the best & brightest President we can get.

To clarify: I believe him when he (now) says he didn’t write the articles, and I don’t believe he’s a racist. But believing otherwise, at least as to the first point, isn’t crazy.

Why do Paul supporters think that he claimed authorship of the 2 articles back in the 90s?

Yeah, nobody is voting for the guy who follows the US (not foreign) Constitution anymore so make sure you don’t either. STAY AT HOME Ron Paul supporters. He can’t win so vote for us. STAY AT HOME Ron Paul supporters. You swear to uphold what? Civil liberties? Free speech? The Us Constitution? What the hell is that? Screw the US Constitution. Screw the Economy. Screw the Republic. Don’t vote for the Duke Medical School finance nerd, Dr. Paul, the guy who has studied economics for 30 years and ran several of his own successful businesses while providing free or reduced cost healthcare to poor people of all races so they won’t die prematurely. The guy with the A+ average will never win.

Thanks, Alan, for dredging up old news on a candidate garnering 6% of the vote because you don’t like one of his more vocal supporters here in Buffalo.

I eagerly await your next hard-hitting piece on Dennis Kucinich, Alan Keyes (yes i am aware he’s not running), Fred Thompson, Rudy Giuliani, Mike Gravel, Christopher Dodd, Duncan Hunter, and all the other folks who have zero chance of being elected. I hear a few of them may have some issues as well.

But instead I will look forward to your telling me I’m not voting for Hillary because I am “afraid of a strong woman” or Obama because I “hate brown people”.

Not that there’s anything bad you could write about Hillary…
