Don’t be so sure. He has a few payments for advertising. Mullen & Company or Erick Mullen could have taken care of those payments for him as part of the service they provided. Davis didn’t have to make direct payments himself for it to be taken care of. Maybe Chris can call them to find out.
Davis is a millionaire and he can’t spend the money to go to Office Max he has to take them from his company? Why is his field director living in New Jersey? He can’t afford her an apartment in Buffalo? How many NY-26 voters are in New Jersey?

Now where is the post about the majority of all Jon Powers donors coming from outside the district and clear across the country?
Paul’s right: lookey here:
His in-district financial support is only 7.5% of his total. A whopping 92.5% of all Jon Powers’ financial support comes from out-of-state (49%) and New York City (44%). Jon Powers top two financial centers are Washington, DC ($134, 726.26) and Massachusetts ($99,041).
PAC money makes up 22% – $187,175 of Powers’ war chest.
Now, are we really so pious as to turn an eye from the obvious here?
Powers’ brand of “Leadership by Example” is to pay yourself to campaign for an office your are unqualified to hold. He paid $4,000 from his campaign war chest to rent the apartment he lives in and takes a back door salary through reimbursements. What 29 year old do you know that can afford to work without pay for over a year? What a sham. The kid is not ready for primetime and god knows what the real story behind “War Kids Relief” is.
How about a 30 year old (yes he’s 30 – get your facts right) who’s served in the US Army for 4 years, a year and a half was fighting in Iraq.
Those soldiers serving in Iraq & Afghanistan recieve tax free pay and combat bonuses (though not nearly enough).
He also paid the $ 4000 back if you check out http://www.fec.gov – so no he didn’t pay himself a salary.
Sorry Powers can’t be like Chris Lee who let’s Mommy & Daddy sell a company to New Jersey – so WNY LOSES JOBS!!! — and ride the millions into Congress.
You also fail to divide out the Act Blue fundraising money that comes from WNY’s. I’m sure most of those supporters from across the country have some sort of family ties to WNY as well – because people like Chris Lee and his family sell jobs away from WNY and people have to leave to find them!!!
At least Powers has support nationwide – Davis & Kryzan don’t even have support here in WNY!
Let’s analyze Chris Lee — 600 + K in donations — 320 K donated by himself…. so 50 % of Chris Lee supporters = himself Krzyan is about 45 % of her supporters and Davis is 100 % of his supporters.
Powers may have money from outside the district… but he’s the only one with real money inside the district!
yawn. as i stated elsewhere, if running against davis doesn’t bankrupt him, and he manages to eke out a victory, davis will face the incredibly well funded and smooth talking republican chris lee in a district that has voted republican for congress in every election in recent memory. i’m always open to the sucker bet, however.
