Better look again. Homosexual couples are suing for the right to use church property for their ceremonies. To the congregations they see it as an aberration and an abomination.

No one is forcing churches to ordain same-sex couples as they do heterosexual unions…the crux of the matter is ending discrimination against same-sex couples – call it what you want (marriage, civil union, etc) but same-sex couples should have the same rights (spousal inheritance, hospital visitation, etc) as hetero couples currently enjoy.

Even if it were clearly genetic, what’s the difference between calling someone Mr and Ms, why isn’t that “separate but equal”? Who was talking about keeping things separate anyway? It’s not separate, but different. Your analogy is false.

The void between parents who care for each other and love enough to want to choose a child to raise, and people who perform 24 hour daycare for a check from the state is massive.

And that fact doesn’t change my belief that a religious union between homosexuals is repugnant to my religious background, education and outlook.

I’ve seen the effects of divorce on children. I’ve seen the results of children who are raised in a home with no love in it because the parents are staying together “for the good of the kids”. Neither situation is worth a fuck.
