I just heard Jack Davis’ “Build me up, Buttercup” ad, which instead says, “clean it up, government” or something. It was shockingly horrible, and it was completely by accident that it got my attention.

nice another illegally obtained song by Davis — how about “breaking the law, breaking the law”
Jackson, you sing a nice tune of libel. Is there any proof anywhere that these were illegally obtained? Don’t you think that any local news outlet would be all over this if there were any question they were illegal? Wouldn’t the radio stations running the spots be concerned with their legitimacy? Even if you don’t care much for Davis and his success in business, don’t you think the large DC-based media consultant that produced these spots would know how to run a media business on the up-and-up?
I guess no one knows how to do their job as well as you and BP do, but at least BP backed down a little from the illegality claim.
Russell – yes, Jack Davis should get every benefit of the doubt because he’s such a hands-on, detail-oriented campaigner, right?
Davis is a lazy, indolent millionaire who disgusting elitism is matched only by his laziness on the campaign trail. He would rather play the Wizard of Oz, hiding behind his curtain throwing his sizable fortune at the voters instead of doing the day-to-day grunt work that any candidate worth his or her salt must do to earn the voters’ trust. God help us if he’s the Democratic candidate again.
And you must be high if you consider a comment on a blog tantatmount to libel. If that were the case, Obama would be a gazillionaire by now with all the smearing done to him in comment sections around the Net.
Jack Davis launches the Karaoke Campaign?
