Apartheid Niagara Falls Style

Channel 4 reported last night that there is a water fountain at the city’s public works building with a “Whites Only” sign on it. Why city property would have such blatant federal lawsuit bait on it underscores the fact that Niagara Falls is the perpetual “F” student of cities.

    the sign was handwritten on a sheet of typing paper and left by other employees. it targeted six black dpw workers who sued the city on racial discrimination charges back duting the elia administration. elia used stalling legal techniques to ensure there was no justice in the case and vince anello did the same thing. now “mr. progressive” paul dyster is jacking the guys around as bad as elia or anello ever did. they’ve got a great lawyer and it’s been apparent they’ve had a solid case since the beginning. of course the damages continue to compound as time passes and more things like this occur. i believe it’s now around $30 million.
