Clinton. Denver. Pundit. Channel 4.

I’ll be talking with Channel 4 about Hillary Clinton’s convention speech tonight. She’s scheduled to go on at 8:30 Denver time (10:30ish our time), and I may liveblog it, depending on Channel 4’s wifi availability. So, register your comments/reax in comments.

OK. Here we go.

kinda funny last night when barack said he was in st. louis when really he was in kansas city.

  2. mike says:

Almost as funny as Hudson thinking he lives in buffalo, not niagara falls.

    You rock BP!

    I am DVRing it.

on msnbc they just spent five minutes discussing the time last week when mccain couldn’t remember how many houses he and his wife owned.

thus far, no discussion of last night, when obama couldn’t remember what city he was in.

    i’m liveblogging!!!! yaaaaaay!!!!!!

No BP, Special Ed is my day job which I’ve been encouraged not to quit and what’s going on above is something even we’re not set up to handle. Remember McVeigh’s lawyer using the analogy that even doctors sometimes get patients they just can’t save ? Well…

or they could have discuss the time John McMansions said that al-Queda was being trained in Iran:

    http://www.dailykos.com/storyonly/2008/3/18/133937/837

“Pressed to elaborate, McCain said it was ‘common knowledge and has been reported in the media that al-Qaeda is going back into Iran and receiving training and are coming back into Iraq from Iran, that’s well known. And it’s unfortunate.’ A few moments later, Sen. Joseph Lieberman, standing just behind McCain, stepped forward and whispered in the presidential candidate’s ear. McCain then said: ‘I’m sorry, the Iranians are training extremists, not al-Qaeda.’”

but of course, it’s more important to dwell on Obama’s “Hello Cleveland” moment.

I doubt I’ll make it to Hillary’s speech, I’m already getting nauseous listening to Rendell rant about taxing the oil companies more. Somebody should tell him that will result in decreased reinvestment with higher prices.

  9. mike hudson says:

    isn’t keith olbermann just insufferable?

still no discussion of why obama thought he was in the wrong city (back on the coke?) but they did ask mitt romney how many houses he has.

What strikes me as interesting is that the source for the most Hillary angst comes from right wing commentators like Rush Limbaugh, Bill Kristol and the neocons over at NRO. The “liberal media” guys have picked up on it and continue to drive it home and find all the PUMA boomer chicks they can find on the floor of the convention.

Are the right wingers fretting about the death of the Clintonian/Rove Politics and the end of their most common and reliable of enemies?

And for those PUMA Hillary supporters, if they want to cast their vote for Pro-Life, Anti-Union McCain just because their candidate lost, well, that’s just foolishness. Policy pragmatism will eventually outweigh whatever emotional strife currently powers this Clinton dead-ender “movement”.

  12. Chris Smith says:

Also MSNBC is to Democrats as Fox News is to Republicans. Pandering, biased, and nearly insufferable. Chuck Todd is the only reason to tune in.

  13. mike hudson says:

looked like a bad case of buyer’s remorse down there on the convention floor.

    hillary 2012!!!!!!

  14. Tuco says:

Olbermann is the absolute worst. Even worse than Jack Cafferty at CNN, and that is saying something!

  15. Tuco says:

Michelle Obama just pulled off a not-so-great acting job. Her reactions during Hillary’s speech were so forced. Certainly won’t help her image.

I just laughed my ass off at the office re: traveling pantsuits and overgrown oompa loompas. You guys are awesome.
