I hate Buffalo Bean and pretty much everything he believes but ’sloppy seconds’ is kind of funny.

It’s the internet. Tasteless and crude humor is the norm. The sooner people stop trying to apply the same social guidelines to it that govern real life, the better they’ll sleep.

I swear to god if bloggers spent half as much time being outraged at the actual policy of politicians instead of being outraged at every one liner the other side drops that they deem ‘offensive’, my RSS feeds might be worth reading again.

facts plz — i won’t apologize for calling her what i called her – but BP did post an entire entry regarding “cooling down” on those comments.

BP didn’t say those type of things. The problem is Matt from the “bean”, someone who hosts a blog, did say those things.

BP doesn’t have to apologize to Kryzan for something someone else said. The fact remains that the beaner wrote sloppy seconds and he hosts a site.

It’s not “hypersensitivity”. It’s commentary on what another blogger wrote as a post on his site. If I spent all my time responding to idiotic or hateful comments, I’d be quite busy, indeed, given their sheer volume.

BP the point I was trying to make is that your hypersensitivity to what is written by others on other sites is ironic, in light of your own laissez-fair conduct when it comes to the posting of vulgar, misogynistic, hate speech on your own site.

Well, Palin was, reportedly, McCain’s second choice for VP, after Lieberman. It never would have crossed my mind to suggest that Palin was McCain’s “sloppy seconds”, because it’s a patently offensive term to anyone paying even a modicum of attention, especially when directed towards a woman.

Secondly, @Facts Plz twice brings up what a commenter wrote about Kryzan on my site. So, let me repeat it for the umpteenth time – I do not respond to every comment, and I generally do not edit or delete comments. My policy on these matters does not, and has not, represented a tacit endorsement of any commenter’s words or ideas. So thanks for your concern.
