Is it possible that the Republicans will finally manage to do what the Democrats have hitherto been unable to do – catch Steve Pigeon engaging in illegality?

Can’t wait until Hudson is exposed. It’s all but confirmed that Pigeon is paying off Hudson to influence the NF Reporter. Everything Pigeon touches turns to shit.

  2. buffalomom says:

Funny how they are only concerned that it’s illegal now that the $$$ is being used against their own!

  3. Chris Smith says:

Kristen Donnelly from WGRZ caught up with Joe Mesi last night and confronted him about his dealings with Pigeon. He smiled, issued a weak denial and quickly walked away. Donnelly should have followed him to see if he launched into a full fledged jog.

  4. pirate's code says:

Yeah, buffalomom, it is funny. So is the fact that, for years, the Dems turned a blind eye because Pigeon was, um, oh, let’s see…yes, that’s right, the freakin’ chairman of the Dem party here.

Or are we not supposed to point that out here at the unofficial newsletter of the Erie County Democratic Party?

  5. buffalomom says:

I have never turned a blind eye to Steve Pigeon. Nor do the Democrats I know, pirate’s code.

  6. Adam K. says:

Hey remember that time where we overthrew Steve Pigeon as chair of the party because he was doing illegal things?

How the hell is that turning a blind eye?

  7. Russell says:

There is a Democrat at the Board of Elections who holds the same position as Ralph Mohr. He has the same authority as Mohr. It’s not funny that Mohr didn’t do anything ’til it affected Republicans. It just wasn’t his job until that point. So it kind of begs the question why the Democrat didn’t do anything?

  8. Mike Hudson's fan says:

who cares!. they only important point here is that they got caught. Pirate’s code is a GOP shill.

  9. mike says:

pirate is just bored because nobody ever comments on his hobb’s site, since he likes to edit peoples comments.

  10. pirate's code says:

Sorry, mike, but I think you’re confusing me with a different GOP shill. I don’t have a web site. I have commented on the one you referenced from time to time, but not recently.

And, doesn’t “shill” imply that someone is getting paid for it? ‘Cuz if that were true, somebody owes me money.

But, if offering an opposing view here makes me a shill, paid or not, doesn’t that then make most of the rest of the folks who comment here Dem shills?

  11. Adam K says:

    Russell,

You mean like he did in July?.

    Just wondering.

  12. Bob C says:

I saw the Kristin Donnelly piece last night and the funny thing is Mesi didn’t deny anything. His reply was even worse, challenging people to investigate. He never said it didn’t happen. More to the fact he sounded like a 30 year poltician when he stated that “this is just some of the same ole’ stuff from the other side”.

For someone looking to change Albany, he never made a hint of a denial over this.

  13. The Wizard says:

Adam K – Ward was saying that shit to benefit his wife, bitter Iannello.

Maybe if you would have done your job better and raised Iannello more than 10k, Ward wouldn’t have had to take this route.

  14. Jessica says:

Thanks for commenting on my blog! That was very nice of you. I love your blog, it’s very funny! Go Democrats!

  15. Ward says:

Why would the Democrats WANT to catch him laundering campaign contributions? He was doing it for them all along. Still is–this time for Mesi.

Looks like all you have to do to figure out Baby Joe is follow the money.
$37,000 from some guy in Massachussets = “I’m for same sex marriage.”
$??,000 from CSEA, SEIU = “That old Taylor Law really ain’t so bad, after all.”

What’s that expression they use on this blog? Oh yeah, FAIL.

  16. The Wizard says:

    Bitter Iannello = Major FAIL.

  17. mike hudson says:

hey chris and alan…i’ve just been slandered again on your web site by wiztard! on the basis of no evidence whatsoever except a bob mccarthy column in which a man who will be formally charged this coming week with theft from the niagara falls reporter was the only source!

wiztard can say what he likes. it does not change the fact that jon powers was an asshole, that alice kryzan has no more chance of beating chris lee than the yankees did of beating cliff lee this season, that joe mesi will prevail in his bid to become a state senator, or that wiztard and any of you other tards who believe barack obama is some sort of “intellectual” or “qualified to be president” are reflective of an american public so ignorant it spends most of its time following the ups and downs of britney spears.

i’ll be voting for him as well, of course, but only because i truly believe that chris smith, alan bedenko, wiztard and the rest of the yuppie scum supporting obama should be forced, at gunpoint if neccessary, to pay for the pre-existing medical conditions i now suffer following decades spent enjoying a libertine lifestyle.

  18. The Wizard says:

Hudson – simple question: Why did Hanchette and Gallagher leave the Report in protest at the same time? Still waiting for an answer.

  19. The Wizard says:

How ironic is it that Hudson is crying about being “slandered” on this blog?

  20. mike hudson says:

hanchette and gallagher left the reporter because the publisher had promised each of them a financial interest in the paper, a move that i opposed. this is well documented in the minutes of shareholder’s meetings held in july and again last month. they were “protesting” not getting cut in on a piece of the action. the reality is that tomorrow morning i have to give a deposition at the niagara falls police department concerning photographic evidence gathered by detectives there that shows our former publisher using a debit card to remove funds from the reporter’s bank account the day after he was removed by majority votes of both the shareholders and the company’s board of directors. he will then be charged with grand larceny.

the whole thing is sad and tragic. perhaps hanchette and gallagher, his friends of 30+ years, will want to contribute to his legal defense fund, since he is basically indigent, but i doubt it. prior to last month, neither hanchette or gallagher had ever even heard of steve pigeon, having not lived in western new york for many years.

  21. mike hudson says:

actually, the second shareholders meeting was earlier this month, my mistake. time flies when you’re having fun.

  22. The Wizard says:

I’m not buying that for one second.

  23. @Mike Hudson – no one has been libeled. If it was printed in an article penned by Bob McCarthy, it is true. You said so yourself. Thanks so much.

  24. mike hudson says:

did i say anywhere here that i was libeled? you’re a real fucking moron alan.

as for gallagher & hanchettes ethics, wiztard, gallagher has worked for fox news for the past 20 years. he works for rupert murdoch, and he’s got problems with the political direction of the reporter? buy that if you want to.

as for hanchette, at least gallagher had the balls to write a scathing letter of resignation after having written for the reporter for nine years. hanchette just stopped sending stuff in and stopped answering our emails.

gallagher’s email is all over the web, hanchette’s is available on the st. bonaventure university web site. write them both and ask them whether our soon-to-be-charged former publisher had promised them a piece of the paper.

    some great ethics.

  25. @Mike Hudson shat:

did i say anywhere here that i was libeled? you’re a real fucking moron alan.

Yes, right here you said you were “slandered”, which is the oral version of “libel”, both of which fall under the same “defamation” umbrella. It’s not my fault you don’t know the difference between libel and slander, so I’d probably hold off on calling anyone a moron.

And no one gives two shits about Gallagher or Hanchette or anyone else.

  26. mike hudson says:

sorry asswipe, i was asked a direct question about hanchette and gallagher by the moronic wiztard, the only asswipe apparently willing to still visit this sorry assed excuse for a website. so i answered it.

you’re one hell of an ambulance chaser, alan bedenko. you said i said “libel” when actually i said “slander” and then you chastise me for “not knowing the difference between libel and slander” when you just got finished saying there was no difference. what a fucking moron.

  27. mike hudson says:

of course i meant to say “willing to visit this sorry assed excuse for a web site ON A REGULAR BASIS.”

sorry about that, you fucking scumbag.

  28. The Wizard says:

Hudson – you are a comeplete piece of shit. I cannot fucking wait until all this shit blows up in your face and you are exposed. Everyone fucking knows that you’re taking money from Pigeon to slander candidates. Whether it’s a direct check or just the money from the obnoxious full page ad Pigeon pays top dollar for every week in your slander sheet – you are still getting his money and doing his dirty work for him. DO you really think we are that fucking stupid? A small child could figure it out you drunk prick.

The proof is in the pudding dickbag – you trashed Powers almost on a weekly basis but now you love Mesi? Give me a fucking break. I’m a fan of Mesi’s and I hope he wins big. But you? Dosn’t exactly seem like the type of candidate Mike Hudson would think is the second coming of christ like you do right now. But, when you take care of other’s poeple’s dirty laundry I guess you have to like who they like, right?

Pundit’s right – you take McCarthy’s word as gospel but when it’s turned on you, he’s fucking cluess? Pathetic. You’re starting to sound like Alice Kryzan with your hypocrisy.

Get real Hudson. You are a hack. The sad part is- it appears as if you don’t even realize it.

  29. @mike hudson shat:

you’re one hell of an ambulance chaser, alan bedenko. you said i said “libel” when actually i said “slander” and then you chastise me for “not knowing the difference between libel and slander” when you just got finished saying there was no difference. what a fucking moron.

You said you were “slandered” on this website. That is both physically and legally impossible, as the category of defamation that applies to websites is “libel”. I was correcting you – YOU a journalist who, of all people should know the difference. That you don’t is, frankly, astonishing.

Then again, Bob McCarthy never wrote that I was on the take, and as you expressed many, many times during the War Kids nonsense, whatever Bob McCarthy says is gospel truth.

    Drink less, think more.

  30. mike hudson says:

wiztard…joe mesi has been a friend of mine for a decade. his picture has appeared on the front cover of my newspaper at least five times over that period. he’s come to parties i’ve thrown. so “suddenly” i’m supporting him? gimme a fucking break asswipe. call him and ask him if you want.

as for alan bedenko, he is loathesome unethical scum, who should be investigated by the bar association for total incompetence if not for being completely in the bag for len lenihan, dan rivera, marc panepinto and the other democratic criminals that have made the niagara frontier the wonderful garden spot it is today. anybody ever hear of the rico statutes? like many of his ilk, he chooses to live in the leafy suburb of clarence while commenting in a faux earnest manner about what would be best for us peons who live in the low rent districts the region is primarly made up of.

good luck shyster! i feel for any clients alan bedenko might be able to find, and if they feel they have a malpractice case against him they should call me at 284-5595.

  31. Mike Hudson is a silly and sad, but overall stupid little man who, according to Bob McCarthy, is on the take from Steve Pigeon. I read it in the paper, so I know it’s true.

  32. mike hudson says:

alan bedenko is a hobbyist and democratic machine shill who would do well to go fuck his mother and stop bothering professionals. the bob mccarthy remark will come back to bite him in the ass.

    “first, kill the lawyers…”

who am i plagiarizeing there, dickcheese?

  33. mike says:

    is was stalin mikey

  34. mike says:

oh mike, vince said to say hi!

  35. The Wizard says:

Hudson has hit rock bottom with his lies!! How much did you get for that full page ad from Pigeon? Asshole.

  36. Hudson's Diseased Liver says:

Hudson – please stop killing me!

  37. mike hudson says:

hey alan bedenko, your girlfriend mike finally showed!

  38. mike says:

mike its delmonte’s fault Paula didnt pay her taxes and she put the crack pipe in gary’s mouth too. you sure like backing losers

  39. Yet another Mike says:

Slander is Hudson’s middle name. Elia, Local 93, Dyster, Anello, Powers, and now the Pundit have all had Hudson’s venom spewed at them in one form or another. It used to be just people he had a personal grudge against, it wasn’t until recently, according to the internets, that he started taking money for it.

  40. Not according to the internets – according to Hudson’s favorite columnist, Bob McCarthy.

Don’t you remember that Hudson vouched for McCarthy as a “fine reporter“?

Hudson also said McCarthy was “legit news media“, and therefore accurate until some other “legit news” source somehow reported differently. To date, I have yet to see any non-biased “legit news” source rebut the charges made in McCarthy’s article about Hudson’s Pigeon connection, so I am concluding – based on Hudson’s own criteria with War Kids Relief – that it must be true. Hudson also vouched for McCarthy’s accuracy here, and here, even going so far as to praise McCarthy’s “fine piece of journalism”.

And Hudson’s protestations to the contrary on my hobby site of partisan hackery quite clearly amount to “a tale told by an idiot, full of sound & fury, signifying nothing.
