This is my worst nightmare, come true.
Also, I guess you won’t be reviewing them for Spree.
Not that it should matter, but how long was the deer roadside?
I sould never have to think about this…Have I been eating roadkill that is fresh?
just think how many cats were saved
I know it’s more expensive, and a bit bland, but stick with Wegmans. At least you know the General Tso’s chicken is actually made with chicken.
At least they picked a more socially acceptable animal for U.S. customers. If you were in China, you’d get doggy.
I hate to say it, but I’ve eaten there once or twice.
Is John Zhang also the owner of Zhang’s Buffet on Union near Walden? Say it ain’t so ;-(
Question ? Is this the first large or small mammal to be cleaver processed in this place ? How’s your Mai Fawn ? Seems a little gamey . How’s the Bambeef with snowpea ? Mmm, Can’t quite place the taste…
This reminds me of a restaurant I used to work at that will remain nameless.
The owner and the head chef were both avid hunters and would frequently go on hunting trips to Pennslyvania for deer. One Sunday I half asleep setting up brunch when I walked in the cooler and saw a brown box on one of the shelves. I needed to get something from behind the box, so I picked it up and put it on the floor. When I looked down a decapitated deer head was staring back at me. Scared the shit out of me and they had the rest of the deer carcass draining blood into the dumpster out back.
They never actually served the deer but I’m sure that had to break about a million health code laws.
