First, the Chair of the WFP is the one that suggested they could take Jonny off the ballot and put Kryzan on because Jonny left, not me or WNYDEM. Second, one of Jonny's lovers on here, I think it was Wizard, implied that part of the reason Jonny skipped town was to assist the Democratic candidate by providing her the line through his exiting the state.

This does have everything to do with Jonny. He sought the nomination for the Working Families Party for the general election. He promised to carry their banner in this election and formally accepted their party's line. Now he bailed on them before the election and they were left to scramble for representation after Jonny left them in a lurch. Furthermore, the judge, in her decision, cited the timeliness of the attempted switch.

The "when elected" point is only a small part of the entire decision, but apparently this is a part of the law Jonny, Alice and the WFP were all ignorant on. Jonny supported this idea, not me. Take it up with him.

@ Russell and WNYDEM, you are both incorrect on your assumptions. The law is clear that someone cannot get off the ballot by moving out of state, read the Delay Decision which is based off an interpretation of the U.S. Constitution (which the Judge in this case cited). This has nothing to do with Powers.

WNYDEM, I thin you're right. The judge stated in her ruling that they took too long to try to make this move. Chalk another one up for Jonny.

This probably wouldn't have happened if Powers hadn't dithered for a month. There would have been time for an appeal and a more orderly transition from one candidate to the other.

How many registered WFP voters are there in the district? If they are married to the idea of voting on that line even though the candidate who supports their interests is on another line...what does that actually mean for Kryzan's chances, such as they are...

Alice Kryzan is a bold faced liar. She did it again tonight at the debate with her special interests question. Get fucking real, Alice. She is a cliche lying politician.

I have a problem with parties that exist only to give D's or R's a second or third line on the ballot. I dunno. Maybe it's just me.
