I hope you don’t get into a fight with the BRO people
Will there be any babes?
If friday was any indication, let’s just say… it was
“well” attended…
Yea, I think this time I’m going to pretend to like Obama so I can pick up chicks. There were actually some cute girls at Coles.
Last time, we had 100 people crammed into a room at Cole’s which was suitable for about half of that. So, we’re moving to a bigger venue with more chairs. I’ve already had to explain to five people where this “Cobblestone District” is, so we’ll see how turnout is this time…
The response to the details of where the “Cobblestone” is?
“Oh, you mean where all the parking lots for the arena are, what’s cobblestone about that?”
Have fun people. I can’t bear to watch it. I’m going to do something, anything else. I mean, did you hear her answer to Katie Couric on the important Supreme Court cases other than RvW? She was SILENT. SILENT.
She’s going to be so awful. She’s bombing her practice debates with two days to go. I’d wind up having to drink WAY too much to stomach her and then, well, I’d have to sleep on a bench in front of the HSBC Arena.
Great location to anyone wondering about it. If you can get to HSBC, you can get to Morrisseys. The food is good. The TVs are great. Lots of seating and room to mingle.
There’s going to be a fight with the “BRO people” ? Count me in.
I doubt most of the BRO people could find Morrissey’s. It’s not in North Buffalo, Elmwood Village, or on a bike path.
Actually, the food is pre-fab pseudo Irish haute cuisine, if there is such a thing..looks better on the menu than upon delivery…..a couple of pints negates the disappointment however…
What does BRO stand for?
BRO – Buffalo Rising Online
morrissey’s is one of the only places around that carries Setanta…so I can walk there to catch afternoon Champions League Arsenal games…
great place…serviceable food as Terry points out…
No, but it is about 100 feet from their
officePenthouse Suite, so…They show soccer there!?
I gotta start hanging out there. I’ve been looking for a bar to watch West Ham at for ages.
@Jon Splett
Watch soccer games? I s’pose that’s something to do to wile away the time until Bandits season starts up again!
Are there going to be any drink or food specials?
Can someone tell me the history here with the BRO people? Thanks. I’d ask at the party tonight but I have to work as it turns out.
I can’t wait! The only thing I’m afraid of though is that the expectations for her are set so low, that all she has to do is speak english and everyone will be like, see? She’s brillant!!
See ya’ll tonight!!
I’m sure the debate will be less entertaining than this:

buffmom, BRO thinks that buffalo is rising from the ashes, but normal people think we are barely keeping our head above the water.
@ mike – got it. thanks.
Interestingly the Canadian leaders debate (only English language one) is on at exactly the same time tonight (we are, uh, having an election too). The big story today is “which debate will Canadians be watching?”
Don’t tase me, BRO! (The one and only time I’ll ever use that joke.)
It was a lot of fun. Thanks for the gift certificate. I won at debate bingo (on the Palin card, no less!:-O )
