The new Alfa 149, allegedly coming Stateside shortly. One hopes Fiat/Alfa can make it half as reliable as it is beautiful.

Only rumored to be coming Stateside, based on the fact that it is U.S. spec. Thay’re also planning on importing the 8C Competizione, which is more or less a Ferrari F430 without the badge and minus a hundred thou on the price sticker. Sweet ride.
But Alfa has no sales infrastructure here, having left this market 13 years ago due to miserable sales. They’ll have to ride Fiat’s coattails (Fiat owns Alfa, Maserati and Ferrari) or find a US partner if they want to re-enter the market–good luck to them in this financial climate. What bristling, vigorous US marque is going to marry up with them? Caddy?
At least they have a strengthening Dollar/Euro ratio going for them.
Nice-looking Italian vehicles don’t need to be reliable.
