Sterling Tavern on Hertel Avenue, no question. It’s a robust handmade burger served on a crispy roll. It is burger perfection.
Agree with the Sterling. Just had one Thursday night. Best in town – just be prepared to wait, have cash (no cc) & enjoy the excellent selection of beer. One of my favorite places in the city.
Haven’t been to the Sterling, but I love me some Zebb’s. They make fine, fine burgers.
(By the way, until I followed your link, I actually thought you were relating a real incident that happened at that Olympia restaurant that’s by the airport. Yipes.)
McDonalds – the 1/64th pounder.
I’ll chime in on the chorus for the Sterling- if it is open, if they haven’t run out, as long as you are not in an sort of hurry…. I have never been disappointed in the Sterling if those conditions have been met, but I’ve been there plenty of times when it was closed, or they just served the last one, or they weren’t serving burgers that night.
Looks good. Coronary Atery Blockage on a Plate!
Grover’s on Transit Rd., Amherst.
The Independence Burger at Founding Fathers Pub. Mmmmmmmmm.
