Jack Davis' Crazy of the Day

Yesterday, “Upset Clarence Parent” left the following comment:

Today I witnessed the true Jack Davis. I was volunteering for Kristen Koslowski in the Clarence Center Labor Day Parade. As we were loading a trolly – which included children – I heard a large commotion and turned to see Jack Davis screaming at someone – later found out it was Jon Powers, the guy running for the same seat. The guy (Mr. Powers) had his hand extended trying to shake Jack Davis’s hand and Mr. Davis exploded, yelling and screaming for Powers to leave, at one point cursing so load it echoed in the neighborhood.

I am sorry Mr. Davis, but that is NOT how you should portray yourself in a campaign. Especially when the parade was lining up with children and women near by!

Another gentleman on our trolly witnessed the other guy (Mr. Powers) shake the hand of Alice Kryzan a few minutes before and they had friendly exchange, in a professional manner. I know they debated yesterday, but they were both at least professional.

Mr. Davis has proven himself to be completely unprofessional, and a very angry unstable person.

Happily, Davis’ complete breakdown in sanity was also captured by the Buffalo News:

Sitting behind the wheel of his gleaming black Excalibur at Monday’s Labor Day Parade in Clarence Center, Davis saw one of his opponents in the race for the Democratic nomination for Congress, Jon Powers, approaching.

Powers, who has been engaged in an exceptionally bitter battle with Davis, went up to his opponent and extended his hand — and Davis refused to shake it.

Instead, growing flustered, he simply shouted: “Get out of here!”

Powers, after persisting for a moment, simply sulked away, muttering under his breath.

“I just wanted to say hello, and he wasn’t interested in saying hello,” said Powers, who also noted that he asked Davis — who has avoided debates so far — if he was going to debate.

As for Davis, he said: “He wanted to shake hands with me — and I called him a lying politician.”

The funniest thing to me is that the guy who is running for Congress for the third time; the guy who created his own political party not once, but twice; the guy who admitted paying off the wives of the chairs of the Erie and Monroe County Independence Parties is accusing a first-timer of being a “lying politician”.

Davis need only look in the mirror to find that.

    Students walk home from games instead of drive because JCU doesn’t promote drunk driving — unlike you hudson.

    Powers is innocent until proven guilty and there is no evidence that Powers said those remarks.

    I’ve gone to carroll for 2 years and the cops will pick one person out of a crowd and make an example if he/she feels he needs to.

    It’s a bullshit citation – and if the best you have is a war veteran walking out of a college football game making a few “alleged” comments then your love Davis is sunk.

    Seriously – Davis bribed party lines – created a political party because he know’s he’ll loose sept 9th – and even bitched out of debates because he doesn’t respect the hard work college students put into the debates.

    Davis will never have the youth vote – because he’s a crazy old fart and no one wants a grumpy grampa laying around congress asking for alka-selzer after lunch and taking naps with the history channel on.

    Hudson – will you put a bet on Powers winning? If he does will you post “I was wrong – Powers is a winner” on your paper?

    so now it’s some anonymous blogger claiming to be a “jcu junior” telling some crazy story about drunken students walking home…

    pundit’s story was that powers “was in a very large group of people leaving a football game” as though he were in the parking lot of the jcu stadium located several miles away. that’s what i was responding to.

    actually, you’re right though. motherfucking a cop is the last thing jon-boy has to worry about. the thing about him raising money for iraqi war orphans and then spending it on himself is way more serious. as is his use of campaign funds to pay the rent on his apartment.

    as for the bet, why would i bet with a person too chickenshit to use his own name? i mean, how do i collect when you lose?

    maybe it’s a buffalo thing, but in cleveland, a “bet” is defined as one where each person puts up something of value. a bet where only one of the two “bettors” has anything to lose is much more like what we call in cleveland a “swindle.”

    it would be much like what jon powers did to the people who thought they were giving money to poor iraqi war orphans, in other words, and we don’t play that shit.

    i wish mr. davis paid me $10,000. or $1,000, or even $10.

    seriously, if you have any such documents you should give them to the nys board of elections or to niagara county district attorney mike violante, as i have stated — under pain of perjury — that i never took any money from davis jack davis or any of his campains.

    and i’m not dumb enough to swear under oath to something i know isn’t true.
