All Access Pass with Nelson Starr

To help celebrate the launch, Nelson will be making a special musical appearance this Sunday, January 11, 7 PM at Nietzsche’s (248 Allen St., in Allentown). Other very special musical acts will be featured, including Floozie, the Allen St. Jazz Band with Rose Bond, and Anne Phillipone.

It’s also been rumored everywhere that Anthony Bourdain is in town now, dined at Ulrich’s on Saturday, and will be at Nelson’s gig tomorrow. I have no idea whether any of that is true, however.

    Europa is a great place for lunch…fine food, good assortment of beers, some decent wines (from what I am told) and occasionally some good looking women from Children’s Hospital!

    I met and briefly talked with Nelson Starr tonight at Nietzsche’s on Allen St. He is one of the most down to earth, friendly people I have met in Buffalo. I wish him continued success in the future and look forward to his show and the future Buffalo or “Rust Belt” episode of “No Reservations.”
    Unfortunately, I did not see or meet Anthony Bourdain. probably missed him by half hour or so.

    Nelson and John put together a great show, I look forward to more. Nelson has really found an excellent niche with this. Much success to them both!
