Hey Colin, You have been bad mouthing & personally attacking Reynolds all summer because of his planning board vote. If it were not for Reynolds in the first place it never would have came to a vote. His district was against it he had no support for it. The Towns and Village were against it no support he tried getting support for it they would not back him. Also Kozub could have voted for it Lackawanna was for it. All Republicans were against including Collins so why would you not bring that up or bad mouth them. So you live on the WestSide of the City and I bet you never have been to some of those beautiful two- bit Towns he represents. In those Towns he Represents there are actually Reps & Conv that live there not just Dems who live in the City of Buffalo. I also know your political views are Anarchist so you get off on things like this. What labor union do you belong to ????? thats right none!! What pick lines have you walked ???? none because you are scab!!!! i think its better to support a Dem over Rep any day but thats me. Every Elect in Erie County has tough votes they take some people agree some dont but when you dont live in the district what give you that right to bad mouth him. Also Colin for your Info the WF gave him a pass because they know how important Reynolds is to the them. So put it to bed were are sick and tired of the negative comments on Reynolds you are not helping!!!!!!

Uh, it’s not elitism — it’s the heart of the issue. If someone actually supports regionalism, they can’t give what amounts to a veto to every little town and village supervisor that imagines they’re important. Reynolds was a public supporter of the planning board, and then voted against it when locals stupidly felt it threatened their tiny little patch of turf.

I’m not at all impressed by how “hardworking” or “giving” someone might be. I want them to vote correctly and to stand for something.

Also love the elitism shown in referencing Reynolds’ district as a bunch of “two-bit towns.”

Having a front row seat at the goings on at the EC Leg, I would hardly brand Reynolds “a loser” as stated in that misguided first reply. I fiercely disagreed with Bob’s ultimate vote on a county wide planning board, and I let him know of my opinion on that issue. But otherwise, he is one of our hardest working and most passionate legislators, and gives of himself tirelessly for this county and for the people of his district. His work and leadership on the Distressed Properties Task Force is especially worth mentioning. Keep in mind that rotting neighborhoods and vacant houses are not hot button issues in places like North Collins and Brant, but that doesn’t stop Reynolds from giving his all to this important countywide issue.

I know that Maria Whyte was deeply disappointed in the outcome of that whole Planning Board proposal. She did a fantastic job shepherding that along as far as she did and should keep up the fight because it’s worth fighting for. But those who believe in such a concept should direct their ire where it belongs — towards the 16th floor of the Rath building, not at Bob Reynolds.

Bob’s support for regionalism is such that he caved in to pressure from every little two-bit town in his district and voted against a county planning board after advocating for it for months. He’s a loser.
