The message being that the GOP has avoided going to a 38-2 party split of the NY delegation?
Sayonara Owens–”Magic” Joe Biden won’t be much help tomorrow.
hoffman needs what, 2 or 3 percent of the 20 percent scozzafava had in order to trounce owens. believe me, those republicans are not going to vote democratic all of a sudden. it is a republican district. sarah palin wins one in new york state. chris smith is shitting his diapers.
“Sarah Palin wins one in new york state”? The NRCC spends hundreds of thousands on the nominal GOP candidate only to see ex-Gov. Moosehunt wave her populist wand at a Teagbag candidate and torpedo the Republican candidate just because she believes in civil rights and sensible fiscal policies. All told, there won’t be a Republican holding this seat for the first time in 150 years and the Democratic nominee is in a photo finish come Tuesday. Yeah…more “wins” like this, please.
Is this not an amazing dissemblance of a party and District that once was so safe to the Republican Party that nomination from the GOP was the same as election?
Now, the sorry silver haired remnants of the Right to Life, Anti-Gay and Moral Majority, along with their related evangelical movements of the 1990’s, demonstrate their ignorance of the modern political reality and insist on splitting their party to make a statement.
Beware folk. Once you have a representative who can sit on the majority side of the table you may never allow a fading minority party to represent you.
awww…how sweet. look at the dumbbells expressing concern for those they repeatedly say they hate. see you on tuesday assholes!
What the republicans need more of is candidates who will endorse democrats when they withdraw…right alan?
talk about nonsense
No, the Republicans need candidates with more class and a better knowledge of constituent issues than Hoffman. There’s not an honest person in the world who would blame Dede for giving Hoffman the one-fingered salute.
Talk about a post hoc rationalization…
