Long Island Bound

Today my family and I are setting off for Long Island to attend a christening.  Im looking forward to the celebration of a new life entering our family circle.  I know it will be a fun weekend for all.

 At the same time, I will be aware of Sr. Karen’s funeral today and the many people in this community who have been so tragically effected by such random acts of violence.

While I’m in church for the christening I will say a prayer for all of us.
