UPDATE: James W. Johnson – RIP

Michele Johnson, housing activist and WNYmedia.net contributor has suffered a terrible tragedy. Her son James, passed away unexpectedly while at work yesterday.

Michele has experienced a string of tragedy over the past few months. If you know Michele, you know that she would go out of her way to help her friends, family and strangers.  Now Michele needs our help after suffering such a terrible loss.

UPDATE:

The wake and funeral will be at Amigone’s, 2600 Sheridan Drive. The wake will be on Friday, 2-4 and 7-9. The funeral will be Saturday at 11 am. Contributions towards the funeral expenses can be made by sending a check directly to Amigone’s, or via Sam Hoyt’s local office:
