Isn’t this typical of how government works. Don’t paint a center line stripe but put up a sign every 1/2 mile or so to tell you. As if it isn’t obvious. Reminds me of my graphic in my other website titled Gov in Action. Thanks Neil…!
I was driving on Lewiston Rd north of Oakfield last week and I saw a sign I couldn’t believe. After seeing a few more I just HAD to get a picture, and I thought you’d appreciate it as well. They had these posted every half mile or so, and thank goodness for it. I might still be lost! I don’t know if it was the township, Genesee County, or the state, but somebody has far too much time and MONEY on their hands.

They (I think it was the county) did the same thing recently on Borden Road in Cheektowaga.
Thank god for the NO CENTER STRIPE signs, I’m sure disoriented citizens would be driving down the center of the road because there was no stripe.:-)
Most likely a temp. sign until they can get the crew/equipment for the striping.
