Antoine Thompson leads Democrats’ Pledge protest
Disturbing new video has emerged that shows Antoine Thompson refusing to stand for the Pledge of Allegiance in protest over Democrats’ loss of power in the State Senate.

Behind Thompson, one Democrat can be seen being pulled down by his colleagues when he tried to join in the salute.

In the end, no Democrat–including WNY’s Bill Stachowski–joined in the salute to America.

Not a single Democrat lawmaker stood during the Pledge, including Sens. Darrel Aubertine, Bill Stachowski, Dave Valesky and Brian Foley.

The Democrats’ protest was an outrageous mixing of common civics and politics.

    Wow, Antoine Thompson, MY senator, sitting on his ass cuz he’s not getting his way, and leading the charge to ignore the pledge and disrespect the process, the flag, the Constitution and God. This INFURIATES me.

    Well…the petulant spoiled little brats have shown their true colors after all. Apparently sense of duty to their constituency meant nothing…. this we know all too well. Now loyalty and duty to dirty political party agenda means more than sworn duty to the citizens they represent AND the flag they supposedly revere. What a shame, what a GD shame they are to us, to all of us in western New York whether we voted for their sorry,weasely asses or not. I have never, ever, been so ashamed to be a citizen of this state than I am now.

    WHAT A WAIST OF TIME THIS SENATOR HAS BEEN.HIS THINKING IS ONE STEP UP FROM PLANT LIFE.A MOVEMENT TO IMPEACH HIM SHOULD BE STARTED.ANOTHER BUM IN THE PARK COLLECTING A CHECK.WHAT HAS HE DONE OTHER THAN HELP HIM SELF TO THE RICHNESS OF AMERICA BY SLANDERING OUR RELIGION, CONSTITUTION, AND THOSE WHO DIED TO KEEP THIS LAND FREE.THROW HIM OUT OF OFFICE.
