Sorry for the lack of updates recently. I have some good reasons…
Buffalo Old Home Week planning is at a fever pitch. I’m in charge of the Career Fair and I gotta say, it’s a lot of friggin work. I’ve scheduled 40 companies to join us at the event (HSBC, Praxair, Catholic Health Systems, Clever Method, World Web Dex, Rich Products, National Fuel, and more) Make sure that you register to come out and hear about some great local companies that think Buffalo is an excellent place to own a business and maybe find yourself a job.
I’m also working to get my friend and neighbor Chris Duggan, elected to the Buffalo City Court. He’s an energetic young guy who believes in Buffalo. Give him some consideration.
House shopping, Old Home Week, baby prep, Old Home Week, family events, Old Home Week, designing and planning the next iteration of WNYMedia.net, etc…
Oh, I also have a job that’s been keeping me busy as of late…
There is a ton of stuff I want to discuss but I don’t have the time to generate thoughtful commentary on each issue. I’m keeping a running list…
Pundit’s response to my podcast with Cindy and Kathy. I think he misses the point of what we were getting at and I’ll address it tomorrow…
The Poloncarz report on the City/County Park deal
The Red Sox taking four out of five from the Yankees, yeah that’s right, I just called my shot on that one. Yankees suck.
The state bribes tax rebate checks are here.
Why I couldn’t give a rat’s ass about Jon Benet Ramsey or her creepy looking killer
I’m going to echo Derek’s proposal that the next Bloggercon which should be held at the Central Terminal during Brewfest.
Plans for making Buy Buffalo Week a HUGE event next time around

So, talk amongst yourselves, I’ll stop in and see what’s what.
Busy, busy, busy. Never one to rest is that Chris Smith.
Hey Geek, did you ever go and get a haircut at Taylor Mae’d Barber Shop in the Woodlawn neighborhood of Hamburg? Or are you too busy to even get your locks trimmed?
If you did go, I’m curious what you thought about Pete and the “old school barber shop” experience.
Don’t confuse Oktoberfest with the Buffalo Brewfest – two separate events.
Oktoberfest will provide a better atmosphere for a Bloggercon. There will be tables where everyone can sit down and chat, blog, eat, drink, be merry.
