All I could think about while watching Palin was how much she reminded me of Tina Fey doing a skit on SNL about Sarah Palin. I hope the majority of American women are intelligent to realize how dangerous this ticket is and that to vote for her on the basis of her gender alone would do NOTHING to advance women. Republican's are all about making government smaller? What have the last eight years been? They believe in personal freedom and not interference in the lives of people ... yet deny a woman the right to choose over what she does with her body EVEN in the case of rape and incest? Are there some women out there who would force their fifteen year old daughter to give birth to a child if she had been raped? Please people see these people for what they are. Eight more years of this and possibly worse. Remember McCain is a military man and he loves to fight fight fight. He is also 72 years old not in the best of health and if he chokes on his post innaugural breakfast on a piece of food and doesn't make survive hello President Palin!!!!!! Be smart, be scared people. Vote democratic.

What creeps me out about the RNC is the constant drum beat about the "Commander in Chief" why dont they just say "Supreme Leader" or "Mien Fuhrer!"

I'm sick over it.

She might be the best damn hockey mom in America (doubtful), but when will America's finally realize that the best damn hockey mom or "the guy everyone wants to sit down and have a beer with" doesn't make the best president?! ...Foreign policy, supreme court justices, federal judges, treasury, military, nuclear arsenal...the list goes on and on and on. It's maddening.

I can't help but think she might be related to my gal pal Paula from K-town:

Your principle (1) is very important. The whole Palin presentation was a big honeypot, designed to attract criticism that will lead to outraged, "how dare you" responses.

I just love these comments that Palin is exposing Obama or Palin is more qualified than Obama. It wreaks of either being totally desperate or totally ignorant. What amazes me is this inability for Republicans to admit that Obama is an incredibly intelligent guy. You lose all credibility when you can't admit the obvious facts and can't make your argument on reality based grounds. Its like the select bunch of conservatives who unfathomably still insist that Bush has been a good president. There are incredibly solid grounds to support conservatism as a political philosophy, but pretending the last eight years were well governed or that they were the liberals fault is an intellectual joke. We can't have that many morons can we?

You stand Obama and Palin next to each other and the comparison the GOP is offering is laughable (by the way, Im no Hillary Clinton fan but she she at least stood up well against Obama in intelligence and ability).

I loved her!!!!!!! I am a mom and work and often times am considered a pit-bull. I say go Governor Palin. You speak for me and most of the women that I know wether they are stay at home moms or working moms. You are proof that all doors do open for women of america. I know my 24 year old was watching tonight and I know she will be motivated as my 12 year old. I am from NY and live in AL. I spent years in the media and television business but I have to say you have my vote. You get em....

It always amazes me how people can possibly think that market distorting protections for certain workers is a net positive for the rest of us... the "free trade" you disparage has lifted millions out of poverty around the globe.

stick to bashing the republicans for being anti-intellectual and social populist drivel. The free trade bashing is the democratic version of economist populist drivel. you do your argument no favors by bringing it up.
