After Dick Jauron stoically led the Buffalo Bills to yet another embarrassing loss, this time to the Miami Dolphins, my thoughts are best summed up by giving a listen to the classic “Dick Jauron Song”.
UPDATE 11/17/09 Dick Jauron was fired by Bills Owner Ralph Wilson…finally.
If the Bills are only going to be around for another couple of years, why not ask Ralph to dump this chump and let Thurman Thomas, Darryl Talley, Kent Hull and Jim Kelly have a go at coaching this team? It can’t hurt and we’d at least get straight answers at press conferences and LIKE our team again.

I’ve gotten tired of the wingnuts who’ve screamed to fire Jauron after every loss since day one. The players play hard for him, and he’s always seemed to be just around the corner from putting it all together. But after today’s loss, I think it’s time. Getting stomped today, by a weakened division opponent, is inexcusable, even counting the Bills’ own injuries. It’s usually counterproductive to fire a coach mid-season, but not now. And not just Jauron, but the whole organization. Ralph needs to scrub it all from the top down, and rebuild OBD from the ground up. Go person by person – scouts, accountants, janitors, PR guys, and get rid of all who are underperforming.
Couldn’t agree more. I’ve never been a Jauron hater, but the time has come. This guy is the laughing stock of the league.. He couldn’t buy a clue about offense. The game has passed him by . . . . if he ever was with it . . . .
There’s no excuse for fielding a O-line like this . . . or for that matter dickin’ around with Shonert until 2 weeks before the start of the season and then scrapping the whole plan. Ridiculously bad judgement for a coach at any level. We wil never win with this mortician. Dump him now, Ralph . . . while you’re still young.
I really don’t understand how this guy keeps getting head coaching jobs
Dick, Don’t lose heart. You’ve got the tools, and we know your drive. Keep working hard. We know from experience that the harder you work, the harder it is to surrender.
